Dear sir,

Thank you for your letter dated October 20th,

1937.

It is confirmed that you may have free storage

for a period of one year and we will waive all charges for

temporary storage at Fanling, Taipo and Shatin also shunting

and other incidental charges.

The actual cost of the completed work will be

$27,739.00 and after consultation with Mr. Januszowski

today, it was agreed that you should pay us $26,000 in

full settlement.

You are at liberty at any time to replace the

new 35 kilogram rails with other suitable second-hand rails

provided you meet the full cost of the replacement,

Will you kindly let me have your cheque to

cover the cost as early as possible.
